The current wave of populist revolution in North Africa have been described as the "Jasmine Revolution" by the Western Press, however these uprisings have much more in common with historical hunger revolutions. These tumults are not so much based upon the middle class earning for freedom to vote, and for free speech including the right to "tweet" and blog; but rather as Global Food Prices Hit New Record High their more pressing desire especially among the youth to find productive employment, and the ability to simply feed themselves and their loved ones.

While as of December 2010 the U.S.A. has only a 51 Day Supply of Grain Reserves for it's own population!
Egypt is the world’s leading importer of wheat and “Cheap Bread” has been essential to keeping the stomachs of the entire Northern Africa full, and thus relatively docile over the past few decades of despotic rule along the Southern Mediterranean Coast. Now however with Global Food Prices rising exponentially, primarily due to the domination of International Food Sources by Multi-National Mega-Agribusiness Corporations such as Monsanto, Archer Daniels Midland, Con-Agra, and other Agra-Cons, as well as the combined attacks of Wall Street upon Global Economic Stability Egypt's high percentage of un & under-employed youth under the age of 30 have now ushered in the rage as already witnessed this past month in Algeria, and Tunisia.

Hungry Arabs need an enemy to blame,and Hosni Mubarak is the closest target of their rage. According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2001 7 percent of U.S. corn production went to ethanol. By 2010, 39 percent of all corn grown in the U.S.A. goes to Genetically Modified ethanol production! So instead of growing wheat, our farmers are growing corn in order to cash in on ethanol subsidies Therefore it is not too much of a stretch to link at least a portion of the current unrest in the Middle East directly to Government Sachs, and the Obama/Gore Green Machine. Barry’s Revenge will soon plague internal combustion engine seals, as well as citizen’s world-wide, as the alcohol in ethanol eats away the rubber seals from those who did not take advantage of Obama’s “Cash for Clunker’s” Program. Meanwhile Human Populations around the world are suffering from the combination of Derivative Food Commodity Speculation, and the profound reduction in World Grain Supplies as Food stuffs are burned as a form of automotive fuel.
