"A Coruña , the city of light and glass" by Tania ,5A

A Coruña is the city where I live. I like The Town Hall of La Coruña. Artistically speaking it´s one of the best of Spain.
One characteristic of La Coruña are the glazed balconies. The Spanish for glazed Balcony is galería.
Other important monument is the ancient Tower of Hercules.
A Coruña is by the sea. There´s a beautiful promenade. There are many beaches in the centre of the town.
I love my town. It´s a good place to live.

Hi!.

This is my town.I live in A Coruña.It´s a city in the north west of Galicia,Spain. It´s by the Atlantic Ocean. It´s a blue and white city. The city is well- known for its characteristic glazed window balconies, called galerías. Here it is the Tower of Hercules, a Roman lighthouse that still nowadays helps the sailors find the way to the port. There is a beautiful Town Hall in María Pita Square. There are many shopping centers. There is the biggest shopping in Spain:Marineda City. There is a promenade. There are many beautiful museums:the Domus, Museum of Fine Arts, the Science Museum. In A Coruña there is a huge port that is full of boats.
I live near San Pedro Hill, it´s a very beautiful park and you can see all the city ,the sea, and Ferrol.
In A Coruña there are celebrations in August. An important holiday is on the night of San Juan, celebrated with a massive fireworks celebration, parade, bonfires, music, dancing , sardines and bread. It´s the welcome to summer, and its celebration takes place during the shortest night of the year.

See you!.

I live in A Coruña. It's a city in the north west of Galicia, Spain. There are many monuments and museums: the tower of Hercules (a Roman lighthouse), the Castle of San Antón, the ancient city walls, the Bellas Artes museum, etc. There are many shopping centers, one of these is the biggest one in Spain (Marineda city). There are lots of cinemas (four or five), libraries, hospitals, sports centers, parks , swimming pools, music shops, book shops, theatres. The city is by the sea and there are beautiful beaches (Riazor Beach and Orzan Beach) and a promenade all around the coast.
The weather is windy and quite rainy but sometimes it's SUNNY, and it never snows.
