Once again into the balls.

After the side splitting, venom spitting and venting that nuking an OAP allowed us yesterday we need to stop and stare way past the 6th May and as far into the future as we can glean.

A replacement programme has been put in place to remove the industrial and technological vigour of our nation and import drones and hive minds to serve a new hi-tech agrarian estate.

Others will be building continent wide political action groupings of like minded drones.

The latest is "Computer Stress Syndrome."
This is yet another syndrome to add to the, literally, hundreds that have been named to identify a disorder experienced by the average person.
It is probably also the first step required for pharmaceutical companies to create a new wonder drug to alleviate the pain, anxiety and frustration attached to it.
The first line in a story released Tuesday claimed, "Crashing machines, slow boot times, and agony dealing with technical support have Digital Age people suffering from Computer Stress Syndrome..."
As reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP), the "findings were based on a survey of more than 1,000 people in North America by a Customer Experience Board created by the Chief Marketing Officer Council to look into how to keep customers happy in the highly competitive communications sector."
On its website, the Customer Experience Board states, "Today’s digitally dependent consumers are increasingly overwhelmed and upset with technical glitches and problems in their daily lives. The source of their pain: frustrating, complex computers and devices, technical failures, viral infections, and long waits to resolve support issues that disrupt the flow of their work and personal lives."
They call their study "Combating Computer Stress Syndrome: Barriers and Best Practices in Tech Support."

The AFP article states, "Murray Feingold, a US physician credited in the study with giving CSS its label."

A Day Late . . . A Trillion Dollars Short
The Associated Press issued a news release concerning the just-released non-partisan report from the the Health and Human Services Department.
It is as was feared by those people fighting for fiscal sanity.
The one point it did validate for the Administration, Senate and House is that 95 percent of all Main Street USA will be covered. (Whether one elects to have coverage or not.) The Health Care Rights Act (not the real name of the legislation) extends coverage to 34 million more people.
As pointed out earlier, however, 10 million of those people can afford insurance now but have elected, for whatever reasons, not to carry any. Seems to this Main Streeter that extending coverage to these people is simply a waste of taxpayer dollars and a violation of individual rights as, starting in 2014, you, dear citizen, will have not choice in the matter.
If you do not obtain insurance coverage yourself, the IRS will be standing at your door. With a fine (read tax).
The report points out that costs will not go down, as was heavily touted by supporters (especially those like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi who porked the bill to garner votes). They will increase.
Overall health care costs, per the report, will increase by $311 Billion in the next decade.
Some are quick to point out that the increase is a fraction of a percentage point of total health care spending during that time.
Is that supposed to console Americans, when each and every day our elected (to serve the people) representatives are spending this country into oblivion?
The Affordable Care Act (the legal name of the wretched bill) is NOT affordable at all.
The AP article, in one paragraph, stated that the US spends $2.5 Trillion a year on health care. In the very next paragraph it states that "total health care spending during the decade (ie 2010-2019) is estimated to surpass $35 Trillion."
Is this the New Math about which people complain? Or, perhaps, Creative Accounting?
As when this person divides $35 Trillion by 10 (years in a decade) the answer comes up $3.5 Trillion, not $2.5 Trillion as presented in the earlier paragraph.
That is a HUGE difference.
Why is it that for legislation of this economic magnitude this report could not have been done prior to voting it into law?
America, now more than ever, needs fiscal leadership. (And not the kind that decides that a Value Added Tax or Consumption Taxes will solve the problem while they enjoy the big salary and expense account, free flights and lush benefits of representing the American People.)
Let us hope and pray that fiscally sound men and women can avert financial disaster while not, at the same time, continue to overbruden the middle class.
As stated in earlier blogs, the Congressional Special Interest Group (employing the art and science of buying votes for questionable legislation) is far worse, and, more than likely, costs the taxpayers of this great nation far more than any other form of SIG lobbying that exists.

If you ask pointy questions you will be made an unemployee, your card will be marked; secretly. If you dare say, think, write or express contrary thoughts or opinions you will be gunned down in the dole queue, the Human Resource discrimination process or suddenly the tax man will take a very unnaturally close look at your affairs and fit you up.

Do you dream perchance never to reawaken? Has your consciousness been filled to brimming by false memories implanted from the wall to wall soaps? You have no more capacity for real memory syndrome. For if you catch real memory syndrome you will be defecated from the scam and scheme of things.
How comforting the decades have been for us, snug in our beds slowly poisoning ourselves from the proffered lethal chalice.
I’ve been down the test cells again at The Needles on IoW, 6 years since I was last there and a bit more rust and flaked concrete is all that has changed. Silence and then the Black Arrow came to mind.
We did all this on chip butties, Typhoo and Tizer. Are you committed? If not you should be and will eventually be unless you wake up.
I remember and soon those memories and others’ recollections will be washed away as Roy Batty said. Washed away in the new legend that will be rolled out through our propaganda sewage pump in White City and Shepherd’s Bush.
Soon no one will believe that we could do those things, create such wondrous machines and systems so cheaply and all the while the GGT/Fabians had been plotting the dismantling of our technological know how. All our memory space will be fully occupied with Ant & Phekk and all our behaviour patterns will be moulded and shaped by the learned subservience and Pavlovian begging response implanted from X Phekker and Flagons Pen.
That is just our collective and individual memory, all destroyed. What about the deliberate destruction and nullification of our spiritual peace? Note this has nothing to do with religion, it is about a physical reality all humans share and that has been deliberately occluded and destroyed to keep us atomised and separated. Not to stop us coming together in some sort of commie sense, but to destroy our understanding as individuals within the great space of humanity. A humanity that would not allow the destruction of so many throughout the world by the primitives that seek dominion over us.
Now at this point I’m going to take an aside that is caused by having caught some early day time telly as I got the younger INCOMING!!!!!!! and protoadoptive INCOMING!!!!!!!s through breakfast during our trip to the IoW.
Animals, specifically animal rescue 24/7, the WWF, GREENPEACE, Penguinisers. Protected spaces and this entire whale banning stuff, not fundamentally knocking it apart from the fascist angle, are there to do two things.
1. Demote, degenerate, denigrate and debase our understanding of the value of human life.
2. By distracting our attention and warping our emotional responses.
This is just one facet of the multi layered omni directional assault on our psyches. Don’t give me any conspiracy crap. THIS kind of shit is what the goons who benefit from untouchable intergenerational trust funded wealth do all day every day. They don’t have to work or feed themselves or keep a roof over their heads. IT SI WHAT THEY DO ALL DAY EVERY DAY! THEY LOVE DOING THIS STUFF. GOT IT YET?
As the responsible owner of several large fleets of felines over the years I understand the urge. However I wouldn’t join any protest for animal rights, whale preservation or aardvark abuse action until I’d been down the UN in NYC and burned the phukkin’ dump to the ground with all inside, hopefully whilst they were sacrificing their children to Ba’al Hammon. Until then the whole kitty and polar bear cub circus will have to answer this question before I change my views. “Can a polar bear, a dolphin or rare Finchley termite, after a suitable period of training, deliver health care to the elderly or improve educational standards in the young better than any human denied the resources that those cuddly little tykes would consume?” Once the answer is yes come back and see me sometime. You know how to whistle, don’t you?
So back to the war then.
How do we actually engage with the enemy with a population that cannot wipe its own collective arse without a ten part reality TV show to demonstrate how? Most of them will fly directly into the sand on those Dutch beaches never mind being taken down by the Flak Turm and the Schräge Musik.
I reckon we might find ourselves targetted for eradication soon, we ask too many pointy questions and we will not comply.

A Prelude to Rationing.

All services that we depend on will be slashed and burned, but the PFI contracts and the phoney debt servicing will just have to continue unabated in the poverty we will face.
So just what will we be getting soon in UKplc?
At WNU this went up today reinforcing some of the stuff I’ve been screaming about. I even tickled these guys a little while back asking them to envisage what the US defence posture would look like at 50% of current budget levels ad infinitum. I don’t think they quite got my drift.

There will be a sudden massive intake of breath as the new government “SUDDENLY” finds out that we’ve been sold into penury. Then all the land, the buildings the everything will have to be sold off to people with real money who will come and take possession. All services that we depend on will be slashed and burned, but the PFI contracts and the phoney debt servicing will just have to continue unabated in the poverty we will face.
So just what will we be getting soon in UKplc?
At WNU this went up today reinforcing some of the stuff I’ve been screaming about. I even tickled these guys a little while back asking them to envisage what the US defence posture would look like at 50% of current budget levels ad infinitum. I don’t think they quite got my drift.
Just to spell out my drift. As part of the Financial Special Forces general attacks on the West since 1975/80 the Defence budgets have been infiltrated by criminal project accounting and black budgeting mythologies. We are now poor and wide open to attack by a new entity starting at ground zero on the fiat money Ponzi scheme with no historical overhead or crippling voodoo debt levels.
So let’s take one project that, as I’ve mentioned before has been watched by yours truly for three decades, the big 4 acre steel fields currently being brought together for the RN.
I never expected them to get into the water to be honest. I always waited for the sleight of hand that would use a financial crisis to kill the projects. Historical trends do not favour an RN capability using such massive hulls for a start. Anyone who’s read through the G3s, Malta class, CVA01 etc. will recognise that the docking infrastructure was always a massive extra cost on the programmes above the hulls, crews and overheads. They were simply too big. Same with the new flat tops. And yet there they are being hammered together.
Last August I speculated that they would most likely end up home ported in Brest. Well if we look at the carrier build cycles of UK and France there is a strange synchronicity here. CdG will float on alone, there is no second large French flattop coming up as originally planned. Our two are due mid decade. Their replacements are likely to be turning up between 2040-2045. Will those replacements be Fritish or Branco?

TEA PARTY RACIST HATERS?

In the latest set of surveys from the Pew Research Center, as reported by The Associated Press, the headline reads: "4 out of 5 Americans don't trust Washington."
Prior to commenting on the specifics, it must be pointed out that there is apathy on Capitol Hiill.
The AP story carried this: Sen. Scott Brown, a Republican who won a long-held Democratic Senate seat in Massachusetts in January by seizing on public antagonism toward Washington, said: "It's clear Washington is broken. There's too much partisan bickering to be able to solve the problems people want us to solve."
Reading that quote by Senator Brown again, perhaps it is not apathy.
However, if our elected represenatives cannot get past their childish "partisan bickering" then there should be a recall election for all seats in both the Senate and House of Represntatives.
The reason? Read the polls.
Main Street USA does not want bigger, more controlling government.
The People did not want the "Health Care Rights Bill" as it was signed into law.
Taxpaying citizens do want officials to represent them, not the beauracrat's "wiser than thou" attitude reflecting how they know what is best for the "people on the street" (based on voting records).
The Pew poll findings, per AP, state; "Majorities in the survey call Washington too big and too powerful, and say it's interfering too much in state and local matters."
And there is not one political figure today who can deny that sentiment being displayed, over and over again, by Main Streeters. And, if one does, that person is vacationing (while being paid to work) and has absolutely no grasp on reality.
That the White House and Congress continue to charge ahead with an attitude that crosses public (i.e., voter) opinion, as well as matters of Constitutional Law, regarding the functions of the federal government does show, unfortunately, that the silent majority has allowed, for far too long, the usurpation of state power and individual responsibility.
The system as created by our Founding Fathers does work. That has been proven over time.
We need them back.
Minimally, we need people of the caliber of Patrick Henry, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and others like them who had integrity and spirit, who actually fought for the people.
Our founders were not concerned about their pension plan, free flights across the country anytime they wanted, huge staff with virtually unlimited budgets, all paid for by taxpaying citizens who have become more and more burdened by the national debt.
They were concerned about rights and liberties.
They knew too well, through their knowledge of history, into what a too-powerful central government would evolve.
Politicians need to remember this, above all else. The People agreed to create and form states. The states created the federal government.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights protect those who created this country.
If those who were elected to serve do not start doing so, they deserve to be impeached with absolutely no benefits, pensions or retirement, as they have committed treason against this country.

World War II Recognition
After visiting the National World War II Memorial in Washington, DC, and discovering the online recognition available for those who served through the registry, I felt compelled to share my family's contributions to that fight for world freedom.

Fortunately, none of them died in that conflict, though both Uncle Claude and Uncle Royce were recipients of the Purple Heart.
My father lost his life in an accident in 1971. My Step-dad and Uncle Royce died of natural causes in 2008 and 2000, respectively. Uncle Claude is still with us.
Too often those of us in Main Street USA take for granted our freedom, not remembering what had to occur to bring about and keep those precious liberties we enjoy, including, but certainly not limited to, the great victory of our Founding Fathers and the Colonial Armies and brigades with the American Revolution, World War I and World War II.
Let us all keep in our minds and our hearts what those before us (and their families) have sacrificed, not just on Memorial Day, but each and every day as we give thanks.

Since Obama Took Over...
Hitler,Mao, Stalin, and F.D.R. were toasting, boasting, and roasting away in the smoking section of hell on the day after Obama signed the Health Care Bill when they spotted a red phone. so they asked Satan what the phone is for. Satan told them that it was a special phone to call back to the living on the face of the Earth.
Hitler asked if he could call Germany, and after talking for 5 minutes Satan informed Hitler that the call would cost him 1 million Euros for Long Distance Charges. So Hitler hesitatingly wrote him a check.
Chairman Mao asked if he could be next and called China, after his 10 minute conversation Satan told him that his call cost 18 million Yuan Renminbi, so Mao promptly wrote out his check.
Stalin then picked up the phone and talked to Russia for 30 minutes. Satan informed him that his Long Distance cost was 240 million Rubles, so Stalin said "what difference does it make, it's only paper in hell!" and willingly wrote him a check.
F.D.R. then asked if he could really talk to the White House as he picked up the phone. Satan said "Why of course it's already on Speed Dial!" and quickly informed him that he would not accept a check from a U.S. Bank or even U.S. Currency for his call, yet Satan told him to go ahead and dial anyway and that he would cut him a Special New Deal! F.D.R. said "No problem I already confiscated tons of gold from the American Citizens!"
After talking to Washington D.C. for over 6 hours F.D.R. finally put the phone down, and asked Satan "How much gold do I owe you?" Hitler, Mao and Stalin all went totally ballistic when Satan informed them all that it was a free call. Hitler, Mao, and Stalin all demanded an explanation in unison.
Satan just smiled and replied:
"Your countries have long benefited from the redistribution of wealth from the U.S.A. since F.D.R.'s New Deal began, however since Obama took over as President the U.S.A. has totally gone to hell, so you see it's just a local call now!"

How Much Is Too Much ? ? ?
The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently released some staggering facts and figures having to deal with the budget, the deficit, and other related items.
- As many people know, the deficit for February 2010 was a phenomenol $220,900,000,000 (billion), setting a new record (by a wide margin) for a one month period. (Keep in mind, February is also our shortest calendar month...)
- The government spent $3.05 for each and every dollar that it took in from taxpayers and from other sources. (That math does not work.)
- The most recent five-month deficit now totals a whopping $651,000,000,000 (billion) and is, in fact, a larger sum than any previous YEAR prior to 2009.
- The fiscal year 2010 budget deficit is projected to now be approximately $1,560,000,000,000 (Trillion), which is calculated after monies are "borrowed" from the Social Security Trust Fund. (And, why again is it that reports come from Washington about the SSA being in danger?)
- The Congressional Budget Office issued projections that the interest payments made by the federal government (read Main Street USA) will be $916,000,000,000 (billion) per annum by the end of the decade.
It certainly is not entirely the fault of those now sitting on Capitol Hill that Americans are more in debt now than one can even imagine.
However, throwing social programs costing untold billions of dollars on top of a devastating financial scene is not what one would consider fiscal responsibility.
It seems that our elite elected (and appointed) bureaucrats have become numb to exactly what it means to have debt in the Trillions of dollars. How else can one excuse such callous spending programs, all in the name of "bettering our economy"?
Perhaps all of them should re-enroll in Economics 101 to re-discover (or be enlightened for the first time) exactly how supply and demand work.

The people are saying, rather loudly and clearly, that our elected representatives are not serving us properly or correctly.
Main Street USA does not want more and more deficit spending, our alleged trillion dollar Heath Care Rights Bill, usage (or other types of) taxes to help pay for under-funded programs, borrowing from government agency trust funds to cover "shortfalls" in other areas, earmarks and pork, etc., etc.

U.S. News & World Report is trying to tell us that the recession, by economist's standards, is over.
Their article states: "There are two kinds of recessions: the one that economists measure, and the one that ordinary people feel.
"The official recession is over. That's because the economy is growing again after a sharp decline, with GDP back to the levels of mid-2008. For people who have kept their jobs, suffered no loss of income and enjoyed a rebound in their investments thanks to the year-long stock market rally, things are pretty good.
"Then there's the unofficial recession, which clearly persists. (Why is there an official and an unoffical recession?) More than 8 million people have lost their jobs over the past two years, and the economy has barely started to add those back. Many others have had their pay or hours cut. The housing bust, in its fourth year, still isn't over. Foreclosures continue to mount, businesses and consumers remain gloomy, and many families are struggling to get by on reduced income. 'It's a recovery, but it sure doesn't feel like it,' says Nariman Behravesh, chief economist for forecasting firm IHS Global Insight."
Not sure how that last paragraph convinces me that, even to an economist, the recession is over.
And how does someone account for the fact that federal, state and municipalities are not doing well, especially their pension funds, and some large private companies are still hurting quite a bit.

"General Motors is out of bankruptcy but the troubled car giant still can't turn a profit. The company lost $4.3 billion in its first six months since emerging from bankruptcy. "Let's hope so. The U.S. government owns 61% of the company. (Well, not exactly the U.S. Government. How about Main Street USA. Will taxpayers ever see anything from this "investment"?)
"GM is also struggling with its pension obligations; a large portion of GM's loss was due to a settlement with the United Workers Automobile Workers union over retiree health care liabilities.

I read a few weeks ago that our federal government has borrowed $3.5 Trillion from the Social Security Trust Fund, which, if I understood the article correctly, does not really show as part of the overall deficit. (Creative accounting...)
Our elected leaders need to let America get back to work, stop deficit spending, not force us to buy things we do not want or need, not create more and more oversight agencies (that really do not seem to do their job, anyway), and allow the Free Enterprise system to work.

Not sure how that last paragraph convinces me that, even to an economist, the recession is over.
And how does someone account for the fact that federal, state and municipalities are not doing well, especially their pension funds, and some large private companies are still hurting quite a bit.

"General Motors is out of bankruptcy but the troubled car giant still can't turn a profit. The company lost $4.3 billion in its first six months since emerging from bankruptcy. GM Chief Financial Officer Christopher P. Liddell is confident the road ahead will be smoother, saying 'there's a chance of achieving profitability in 2010.'
"Let's hope so. The U.S. government owns 61% of the company. (Well, not exactly the U.S. Government. How about Main Street USA. Will taxpayers ever see anything from this "investment"?)
"GM is also struggling with its pension obligations; a large portion of GM's loss was due to a settlement with the United Workers Automobile Workers union over retiree health care liabilities.
"According to a report by the Government Accountability Office, GM will need to add $12.3 billion into its pension fund by 2014. It is astounding how people are throwing around the word trillion like you could pull one of those bills from your wallet or purse.
I read a few weeks ago that our federal government has borrowed $3.5 Trillion from the Social Security Trust Fund, which, if I understood the article correctly, does not really show as part of the overall deficit. (Creative accounting...)
Our elected leaders need to let America get back to work, stop deficit spending, not force us to buy things we do not want or need, not create more and more oversight agencies (that really do not seem to do their job, anyway), and allow the Free Enterprise system to work.
Yes, get rid of the criminal element that does exist in the private sector, but also, clean your own houses on Capitol Hill.

NASA STS-131 An Incredible Sight
I realize that there are those who disagree with space exploration while things here on good ole Earth are in such a mess.
However, I will not get into a discussion regarding that topic with this post. I will, for now, just go on record stating that Main Street One supports the Mission of NASA.
A couple of days ago, NASA Kennedy sent Discovery STS-131 into space taking equipment to the International Space Station.
The launch itself is, to this Main Streeter, pure beauty.
For anyone with the time, this is a 3:31 minute video of the moments leading to T-minus and lift-off.
I was fortunate enough to be on hand, several years ago, to witness with my own eyes the launch of Atlantis STS-86 at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
Though we were approximately one mile from the actual launch pad (that is the closest, I was told, that non-authorized mission personnel are allowed), the spectacle our group watched was magnificent.
Unfortunately I lost the digital photos taken at the time (computer crash several years ago with no file backup-stupid, I know). However, NASA keeps very good records.

As stated earlier, to this person, it is a thing of beauty.

The i Revolution
My nephew loves his hi-tech.
He has virtually everything made that is electronic. And, generally, top of the line, or very close to it.
He became an Apple-convert some time ago. I am still a HP person.
He has an iMac, iPhone, iPod, listens to his iTunes and, on Saturday morning, he became the very proud owner of an iPad.
Thus he became iMan.
I changed that to iT (his first initial, and more fitting considering what IT stands for).
I played with his iPad on Sunday and was quite impressed and even admitted to him that I may have to break down and get an Apple product.
Understand, of course, that I do not think anything bad about Apple or their products, but I am a HP person, at least for computing. I have HP PC's, HP laptop, HP All-In-Ones, HP Photo Printer and HP Scanner.
Thus, for me, it was something new and different thinking about a computing device that is not HP.
That is, until my nephew, of all people, sent me a link to something he thought I would like.
And, yes, i do.
Suffice it to say, I will not do anything with iPad until I see HP's Slate. I just hope they can produce it quickly enough to gather some of the market share, based on Apple's iPad sales.
