Do Not Change Organic Standards

It seems inevitable that industry at times attempts to change things in order to benefit themselves, instead of tweaking their own standards to be more protective of the human body.

Anyone concerned with lowering stndards should take a read of this:

Take Action with the Grassroots Netroots Alliance

Organic wine in the US has always been defined as "made with organic grapes and no added sulfites."

The proposed amendment would allow the addition of sulfites to organic wine for the first time.

The new proposal would allow adding up to 100 times the amount of sulfites that occur naturally in organic wine.

Not much more to say.
