95 days till Halloween (A History of Halloween)

The word Halloween is from 16th Century of the word All-Halloweens-Even (Evening). Its the night before All Hallows Day, a Holy Day for all saints.

Many of ideas to celebrate Halloween have been made into wide successes, the carving of Jack-O-Lanterns is from a custom of carving turnips into lanterns. Immigrants moved to North America and used Native Pumkins for Jack-O-Lanterns.

Wearing costumes in North America and other countries is very popular, in children and adults.

Apple Bobbing was a popular thing even in 1823. This is a Halloween Party in Blarney, Ireland.
